Talmud Group - Meeting at Rabbi Shapiro's Home

Every Monday Night at 8:30 pm

Rabbi Shapiro leads a weekly Talmud Group - The group will study tractate "Maakos", which is filled with Jewish Law, history, stories, and the ethics of Rabbinic Judaism's Founding Fathers.

Group meets at Rabbi Shapiro's home, 14 Ruby Field Court. Everyone is welcome!

Journeys Into Genesis: An In-Depth Look at the Torah's First Book

In each class we will carefully examine one or two classic questions, issues, or episodes presented in that week's Torah portion. We will explore these topics with the aid of old and new Torah commentary and, of course, with our own powers of analysis and insight. If you are interested in deepening your understanding of the stories of Bereishis, as well as familiarizing yourself with the classic methods of Torah interpretation, then this class is definitely for you.

Every Thursday, 1:00 - 2:15 pm

With Professor Donald R. Schwartz - A class on the stories and creative interpretations that breathe new life into the Torah and help us solve the mysteries hidden in the lines of text.
