Cantor's Corner
Chazzon Shlomo Abramson We are pleased to introduce our High Holiday cantor, Chazzon Shlomo Abramson. Shlomo is a professional cantor and musician living in Jerusalem. His chazzonus is lively and dynamic, influenced by Carlebach, modern music, as well as traditional davening styles. Chazzan Abramson just finished recording his third Jewish music CD, and he sings with a wedding band in Israel. He led our High Holy Day services this past year and for the previous three years in an American community in Israel called Tzur Hadassah near Gush Etzion. Shlomo is fluent in Hebrew and English. He is married and has a son and daughter. We are delighted that he will be joining us again for 5773 (2012) to help elevate our High Holy Day tefillot and prayers here at Moses Montefiore Anshe Emunah.
