Travel across Latin America through sound in Fiesta, the next vibrant installment of the Around the World with Chamber Encounters, directed by violinist Yonatan Grinberg. This program explores the rich fusion of classical music with Latin American traditions — from the fiery pulse of tango to folkloric rhythms and indigenous influences. Featuring works by Astor Piazzolla, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Silvestre Revueltas, Gabriela Lena Frank, and more, Fiesta is a celebration of cultural exchange, rhythmic vitality, and bold musical storytelling. Part of a three-concert journey spanning global musical traditions, Fiesta invites listeners to experience how place, history, and heritage shape the classical canon.

The Baltimore Chamber Encounters is an innovative chamber concerts initiative which brings classical music vividly alive, redefining the concert experience using various mediums to explain the context of musical compositions through demonstrations and use of other art forms to magnify the deeper meanings both expressed and implied in the music. Using a variety of performers, our concerts are geared to the interests of diverse audiences.
