Scholar In Residence Shabbat – Aaron Wildavsky

Join us on Saturday, August 17th during Shabbat services for our second Scholar In Residence Shabbat program, featuring Aaron Wildavsky.
Aaron Wildavsky is a rising fourth-year semikha student at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah. He has taught Torah nationwide at places such as the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale, Penn Hillel, Ohev Shalom Conregation, and Mercaz Seattle. Aaron also completed a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Weill Cornell Hospital, trained as a dialogue facilitator with Resting the Table, and is an alum of the Drisha Summer Kollel and the Machon Siach Graduate Fellowship.
Aaron is originally from Chevy Chase, MD and studied Political Theory at Washington University in St. Louis. Before beginning his studies, at YCT, he served in the Israeli Defense Force’s Combat Engineering Corps and worked as a financial restructuring consultant. He lives in the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife Deena Nerwen and their dog Betsy.
