Take a musical journey across cultures, traditions, and centuries as Chamber Encounters concludes its “Around The World” season with an inspiring program that explores the rich musical exchanges that have connected East and West along the Silk Road. Presented at the Katz Music Center at MMAE, this captivating evening will feature powerful and evocative chamber works including Janáček’s “Kreutzer Sonata” Quartet, Reena Esmail’s Ragamala, Tsintsadze’s Miniatures, Lou Harrison’s String Quartet Set, and Zhou Long’s Song of the Ch’in.

Performed by acclaimed musicians Dr. Yonatan Grinberg (Artistic Director & Violin), Claire Hebeisen (Violin), Gavon Peck (Viola), and Dr. Ismar Gomes (Cello), “Along The Silk Road” blends emotional intensity, meditative rhythms, folk influences, and atmospheric beauty into a one-of-a-kind concert experience.
