Rosh Chodesh Av Women’s Event
Join the women of MMAE on Sunday, July 27th from 3:00-4:15pm for a Rosh Chodesh event to prepare for the Hebrew month of Av.
The month of Av contains Tisha B’Av, the saddest day of mourning on the Jewish calendar, followed about a week later by Tu B’Av, a celebration of love. Together with Rabbi Emily Stern, we will delicately and intimately explore the ultimate transformation – how do we go from grief to love? In a space and supportive environment, we will prepare for Av through ritual, writing, and sharing.
Rabbi Emily Stern, a mashpia (Jewish Spiritual Director) and rabbi, serves as the rabbi of Kol HaLev Synagogue in Lutherville.
